Sailed on the Wonder 04/17/05. Had two connecting cat. 6 rooms. We were in the stateroom when our Hostess was getting the rooms ready for the night. Both our Mothers were in the room next to us so we wanted the queen bed split. When I asked her she gave me a look. Then she said it was too difficult. I said what? She said it was too hard to split them. Now we had really rough seas 14-18 swells and the ship was really rocking. I said "is it because it is too rough?" She said it was just to hard. My husband who is now sick from the rough seas offered to help. She asked could she fix up the other bed for now and if the didn't like it she would work on splitting the beds in the morning. Our mothers were not there to ask and everyone else was either tried or sick - so we just said fine.
To my surprise it actually worked out well. My mother in law said the sofa bed was fine and they had the privacy curtain they could draw at night.
I was just astonished at the hostess statement that is too difficult I would think that they do it all the time. I made sure to reflect her attitude when I filled out comment card and in her tip!

we were on the same cruise! Wasn't that first night a rocky one! Everyone in my family needed the medication, but me. I just went with those waves. Anyway, we also needed the bed split for our boys and had no problem (deck 7 aft). He did it right away and left fun towel animals every night. It was an awesome cruise, wasn't
