Typically people will go to the DISigners (either here or on the Creative DISigns board) and ask for specific designs.

These are then either posted on the thread for downloading or a link is.

Many people just print out these pictures to make their own magnets.

One note, Disney designs are not allowed to be sold here. But, people can create designs for free for others.

I have wondered the same thing & have some really cute images but am VERY unsure how to make my own magnet. Anyone have any directions or can we take them somewhere to have them printed? I can't seem to find a thread that has the "how to"

Once you have the image(s) you want, you can print them out on magnet paper (purchase at Office Depot/WalMart/or online) or you can print on regular paper or card stock and laminate it and attach magnets to the back. I have done it both ways, though I prefer printing on magnet paper. Although using magnet paper is more expensive.

I print out on photo paper and (after trimming) place them on the adhesive magnetic sheets that I buy at Michael's. Then cut them out again.

Our printer won't do magnetic paper (yeah, it's old), so this works for me.

Thank you so much! good to know! I'm off to the DISigns boards! :thumbsup2

I printed mine out on the magnet paper from Office Depot & they worked out great? They stayed on the door all week, no fall offs!

I don't have a laminator. I use clear contact paper.
I usually use Microsoft Word and Insert the picture. The picture can be re-sized very easily. Print on card stock, cut out, laminate w/ clear contact paper, glue magnets on the back.

I also find card stock and 3-d stickers - usually in the scrapbooking dept of stores like JoAnne's, Hobby Lobby. Sprinkle baby powder on the sticky part of the sticker to get rid of the stickiness. Then, glue a magnet to the back of the sticker.

Disclaimer: Do Not use stickers or anything sticky on the doors or walls.

I cant seem to get it printed right the image is too big for my paper, the top of mickeys ears is missing and the bottom of his head.. whats the problem?:upsidedow

I ordered mine form etsy. I did't have time to figure it all out and nothing I do turns out how I imagined it.

I also ordered ours from Etsy. At $15 it was just painless and no running to the store for magnet paper, or using up my Printer Ink and screwing it I up!
Love Etsy, simple to do and great quality! JMHO

I had the same problem and saw there was on icon for fit to size on the print screen. I unclicked it and it worked and printed out with no problem.
Hope it helps you too.

It's really not that hard to make your own door art. Just search for pictures you like and print them out. You can also add your name and/or cruise date. If you don't know where to start you can look at other people's magnets to inspire you.
