Stateroom account: using RC's and GC's first?

So we have a Rewards Card and GC's that we would like to be the bulk off our spending money while onboard the Dream next week. We want those charged before our credit card. Do we immediately take them to Guest Services and have them preloaded? Can they do that at checkin?

Once you are on the ship, go to the purser's desk, and have them listed on your on-board account. They will be charged/used before your CC. Make sure you keep the cards, if you do not use all the monies placed on the account they can reload your card with any left over funds.

You can also call Disney prior to your trip and have the cards added to your on-board account.

Ditto above. Credits on your account work like a declining balance. Once you purchase things around the ship like drinks, spa, etc. it will use up the credit first. Once the credit is all used it any charges would then accumulate on your account and be charged to your credit card once it reached the threshold for charging. I think it is around $400-$500 for the 7 day cruise. May be less for a shorter cruise.
