Hello!
Has anyone ever stayed in room 7128?? (on the magic) Can you tell me anything about it? I know its a Navigators Verandah and its on deck 7. Other than that....
-Where do we go for the Lifeboat drill
-Is the Bathroom on the left or the right as you enter?
-How is the enclosed Verandah?

Thanks!!

I've been in most of the deck 7 category 7 rooms. This is my favorite location on the ship. The rooms are essentially the same as the category 5 rooms right next door, but cost about $600 less. The only difference is the partially enclosed verandah, which to me is not a big deal. I still feel that you get plenty of breeze and plenty of view, with a bit more privacy, which is a plus.

Based on the way the room is represented in the deck plan, I would guess that the bathrooms will be to the right as you enter (this is based on how the rooms I have been in are shown on the deck plan and my recollection as to where the bathrooms were).

You'll most likely be in Animator's Palate for the lifeboat muster drill. Some people see this as I plus. I do not, as the air is not usually on in the restaurant and its very hot in there. In any case, the drill is about 15 minutes of your entire trip, so it really doesn't matter where you end up.

We stayed in this room on our first cruise. We loved it! We sat out there every morning with coffee and pastries (early risers). Not too much breeze.

We went to Animator's for the lifeboat drill. The bathroom is to the right. See my avatar for a picture taken looking out at St. Thomas from the verandah. Not bad at all. The only reason we chose 7628 on the next cruise was because we were looking at the dock in St. Martin, the mall in St. Thomas and the dock at Castaway Cay. On the next cruise we were looking at the dock again in St. Thomas so it really doesn't matter. The ship can pull in either way and we'll never know.

Enjoy!
