We were in 6076 this week on the Wonder, and really like the location(midship-near elevators and steps). It was our 1st cruise and we will try to re-book this area for next year again.::yes::

Hi nick

Thanks for your reply Nick, thats made me feel much happier, silly question was the cruise what you expected, i take it you had a good time if you are considering going next year?

My DH and I stayed in room 6090 on the majic Sept 03. We loved it so much that when we rebooked for the next cruise in sept 04 we asked for the same exact room. We found it very central to get around. We always looked for the "emergency exit". We were the very next room. (You'll be the room before!). It made it easy to find the room. Hope this helps!

We stayed in 6092 and had a small issue.

After the ship was cleaned, water pooled on the verandah. The water was there upon embarkation and we contacted our stateroom host (O'Dell, who was awsome). It was cleaned the next day. That happened one more time, after we were in port at either St. Maarten or St. Thomas. Once again, O'Dell had it cleaned/dried the next day.

Someone reported the lack of drainage was a design flaw that impacted a small number of cabins. However, I am wondering if its been corrected since our Jan '03 cruise as I have not seen anyone report on this issue.

Thanks skatie
Wonderfull, when i booked our cruise i just had what stateroom was available, looks like its a good choice then. I was told its midship is it less rocky!!!

Being midship is the boat less rocky?

I haven't stayed in any other room, so I'm not sure how it compared as far as rockiness. I sort of enjoyed a little movement-
it helped me sleep!:o

We stayed in 6088 during our DEC 2003 cruise. It's a good room. It is close to the middle of the ship, so it doesn't rock as much. You are about midway between elevators/stairs. That's good and bad. It's good in that there's not much traffic in the hallway by this room, but it's bad in that you're not really close to the stairs if you have to go to another deck. It was quiet (no noise from upstairs). It's not far to any of the dining rooms and it's pretty close to the kids clubs. The room was in good shape. All in all, it's a very good room and you should enjoy it. Have a great voyage!

Thanks dizjazz and all.

What a great site this is i have had some good info and tips most of my worries and concerns have been answered. Thank you
Linda

We stayed in 6092 last June and did not have any problems whatsoever (They must have fixed the standing water problem mentioned above as it did not ocur while we were there). We are moving closer to mid-ship though for our next cruise in May. Wanted to be closer to the Kids Club for our DS6. - Mike

The cruise was "GREAT". We were a little apprehensive of getting sea sick........but we didn't. Here is my report I did on the DVC board for members who are considering cruising below........
