Does anyone have any recent pics or experiences to share about stateroom 6006 or 6506 on the Disney Wonder or Magic? I know they are secret porthole staterooms, but I can't find any pics or descriptions.

I've been wondering the same thing. The only pic I've ever seen on it is just the one floating around showing the window with a scaffolding halfway across it. I can't even fully make out if it has curtains or not, which I hope it does.

If you Google Disney Wonder Cabin 6006 there are a few images.

These cabins on the Magic and Wonder will look like a standard 9A or 9B oceanview cabin, with the only difference being that the view is obstructed by a structure that will occasionally move around the ship for cleaning or maintenance. The large porthole window will have a curtain covering it. This gives you an idea from outside what the obstruction is like circled in red:

Inside of cabin will be like this (which is Wonder 2050):

Is the porthole really that big? Pics I've seen floating around (not very good pics) make it seem like the porthole is smaller. Although I do know they were cat 9 rooms before the re categorization, so that would make sense.

Here's a picture of Wonder 2504 which has the somewhat smaller porthole window. I haven't actually stayed in the deck6 oceanview and the difference between the big and slightly smaller porthole windows on deck 2 is really subtle and difficult to notice from outside, so I can't say 100% that the deck 6 is the larger one. Deck 6 wouldn't be slanted out or have the wider ledge like this as this is just on a few of the front cabins on deck 2 due to the curve of the ship.

Here's a picture of outside showing decks 1,2,3 and you can see the different sizes on deck 2.

My parents were in 6506 this June. I will try to find my pics. The obstruction was not bad at all! I was happy to have been able to get the room (saved me some money!)
