Statement Room Change Question

We just got our docs for our upcoming cruise on the magic – Disney couldn’t assigned our staterooms at the time I made and paid for two reservations – low and behold – my stateroom is 6656 and my mother in law was assigned to stateroom 5000. These two rooms couldn’t be further apart on this ship - She is going to be a tad upset since she will have 2 of her grand kids in the room with her (I hope she doesn't think I did this on purpose) - I ve called but Disney has said they can’t move us – all sold out - They said we could try to move on the day of the crusie due to folks that cxld - Has anyone had any luck moving staterooms on the day of their cruise?

It's happened but just like upgrades, few and far between. THis might be more rare than the comp upgrade.

We tried to change our two rooms, in almost the exact situation last February. We were told it was a Full sailing. President's week, so it surely was. We just made the most out of it. As stated, get to the port early, and have your MIL with you while you ask, so she realizes it is not done purposely.....

Actually, those cabins aren't THAT far apart. The ship is big, but not THAT big. If MY mother in law was cruising with us, I'd want her on deck 1, and us on deck 8........gee, I wonder if I tip the right person....maybe they could move her to one of the crew decks below deck 1 ????!!!

Actually, those cabins aren't THAT far apart. The ship is big, but not THAT big. If MY mother in law was cruising with us, I'd want her on deck 1, and us on deck 8........gee, I wonder if I tip the right person....maybe they could move her to one of the crew decks below deck 1 ????!!!

If MY MIL was cruising with us, I would jump off the ship!! Oh wait, wrong chat board!!!!
