I wonder why TDS state pins are not proportional sizes...I know that there may need to be some leeway so that AK is not 3 inches across, and RI less than a quarter inch..but REALLY...the LARGEST pin I have so far (out of 22) is NH!!! It's bigger than TX and CA....I wish they could have been a little more careful...
:p :p :p

I have 46 of the 47 (still waiting for my Texas). I have noticed that Montana and Alaska are small based on the size of the actual state and Hawaii and Rhode Island are large pins. It might make it hard to frame them as an actual map.

I would be hard to frame the set and have it approximate the shape of the US...but it's true the MICKEY's would add something to that free-form ;-)
Anyway Karinmac, if you still need a TX, I've got one!

Pin manufacturers base their pricing on the length of the longest straight line on the pin. Most the state pins arei around 1.5 inches so I would bet this was the determining factor.
