Starwood Points and upgrade to concierge

Can anyone tell me about the starwood points program and how you get an upgrade at the Swan to concierge? Are you able to make a reservation for it or do you have to chance the upgrade on check in? How many points per day do you need?

We think it's 1250 points per night and that it can be done at check-in. We are going there next week and if you send a private message or post again, we'll be happy to let you know.

It's 1000 per day to upgrade to club level. You can do it 5 days in advance through SPG's guest services number - if there is space available. Or you can do it when you check in - again if space is available.
