When we were there in '03, I got 'choked' by Vader (I was there the weekend before "theking0075"). All sorts of people walking by were snapping shots. Somewhere in Korea, Japan, England, Iowa, New Joisey, etc. there's photos of me.

Per TGM site (updated today,) the 2006 dates are the weekends of May 19 - June 11, 06! Only the dates have been released with additional information to follow. I've attempted to verify this on Disney but they must be in the process of updating their site since I keep getting error messages when trying to access special events.

I couldn't wait to tell my SW crazy 4 y/o son! He's soooo excited! It starts the last couple days we will be there. I was so hoping for this!

Matt (or anyone else who went last year) - do you remember MGM having early EMH on any of the SWW days? I don't remember that, but this year there is an EMH scheduled on Fridays of what looks like (I hope!) will be SWW. I would need to figure out when the sign ups would take place for the trivia contests if the park opens at 8AM - my info from last year says the sign ups started at 9AM, which was right when the park opened.

This last June they did have EMH in the evening while we were there. If memory serves correctly most of the extra Star Wars stuff was not out during EMH.

The Stormtroopers at the entrance on the roofs were GREAT!

My DS, MIL and SIL are HUGE Star Wars fans! My 7 year old DS was in heaven.

I got to see R2D2!!!

We are only there Mon-Thurs, so we will miss the events. We will be at MGM on June 5th. Will they have any of the special merchandise available to purchase even though there are no events on those days? We want a Jedi Mickey!

The Jedi Mickey are no longer solely for the events. These can be found in Once Upon a Toy or Tatooine traders all year 'round

Thanks! My DD will be thrilled! Her DBF is a big Star Wars fan, but he isn't into Disney. We thought this would be a great gift for his birthday (we are going to convert him to a Disney Fan!)
