I know there are Christmas threads that tell how different people surprise their kids with a Disney trip. I need a little different twist. My cousin is wanting to surprise her kids this Christmas with the 2020 Disney trip. It's not their whole Christmas it's just part of the reveal. But the main focus around this is there son will be turning 16 & of course to see Galaxy's edge just followed by our bi-yearly family Disney trip. Their ages this year are 15 (boy) & 11 (girl) they will be 16 & 12 on the trip. I love Disney but I must admit I'm don't know much about star wars so we were looking for some ideas on how they could have fun with telling them we are going to Disney next year. Any help would be appreciated.

One thing we did was write out "We are going to Disney" or something one of those blank puzzles you can get from the Craft Store.
Then you could decide how they get the puzzle pieces....like a scavenger hunt, or wrap them separately, or put them in a puzzle box, etc.

Red and green light sabers? Or one of those Christmas sweater/Star Wars shirts? Lego Star Wars advent calendar and sneak a reveal in the last day?

I don't know if they still make them, but for a while I remember seeing a Yoda version of those Magic 8-ball toys. You could tape a note over the window that says "Who cares - we're going to Disney!!" and then they'll see that when they ask their first question.

jib jab has some really cute e cards that they make for the holidays. If they can find either a Disney or Star Wars one they could put the reveal in the card. ( Jib Jab is fun because you scan photos of yourself and you are in the card )

We went for Christmas a few years ago, and I gave them an early Christmas present that was a slow reveal. (I like the puzzle suggestion above!) We did a princess theme, but you could consider make the first gift a star wars tshirt ("cool, thanks"), then another a star wars themed luggage tag ("huh?")...then a bigger gift where it is more obvious (Mickey ears and a loaded Disney gift card or a lanyard).
