starting to worry that it will be crowded

I have a trip planed from Nov. 28 -Dec.5. I have always read that the week after Thanksgiving was a low time.

I have spent almost an hour on the phone each early morning trying to make PS. Fantamic Dinner was almost already booked after only 40 min of phone lines being open right on the 90 day mark.

Also the LTT MVMCP dinner was pretty much full. going to try Cindy's. I called for LTT in july after I got my tickets

Am I worried for nothing or should I not get my hopes up for a thin crowd?

Hope for the best but prepare for the worst! Thats what I always do. If its crowded, take advantage of fast passes, and maybe a leisurely lunch at a table service or buffet restaurant to take a break for an hour or 2 in the afternoon. It shouldnt be *too* hot at that time of year. Just be prepared to roll with it either way, and if you're worried, stay away from the parks offering early entry on that particular day

Hopefully everyone is grabbing a Fantasmic PS because they are worried that it will be crowded. We went over thanksgiving 2 years ago and I went with the idea that it would be just mobbed. We were pleasantly surprised. It wasnt as bad as I thought. By Monday, there was nobody there. I dont think it will be near as bad as you are thinking it will be. We never take advantage of the EMH days, ( but acutally might try it this trip) but we do avoid the parks that offer it on that day.We also avoid MK on Saturdays. We usually just hop over at night if they are showing Spectro and its the only time we can see it. I would also avoid MK on what ever day during the week they show it. In january, a tuesday at MK was super crowded because of Spectro. We use fast passes if we need to, and if all else fails and its crowded, we head over to Epcot. THere is alot to do over there with the holidays! All of the countries tell a story about their christmas traditions and its told by their 'santa'. The kids, and the adults, loved that. Dont worry too much.. and just remember.. you will be at DISNEY!!!

Looks to me like Nov. 10-14th will be crowded--they even BLACKED OUT those dates if you wanted to use the BAT code!

Hey Canda!
We are going the exact same dates as you! And I am having the same feelings as you!
I thought it was supposed to be slow starting the monday after thanksgiving.
I over slept this am to try for cindys, guess I have 5 more days to try for it.
I just loved when dreams unlimited did all this for me last year!
Good luck!

I wouldn't worry too much. We have gone to WDW many times. You'll find that starting on Sunday the crowds start thinning out.

We did go to WDW the week before Thanksgiving last year and up until Thursday the park was VERY uncrowded. Even better than the week after Thanksgiving. But it picked up considerably on Thursday.

Like others have said. Just make the best of each day based on how it is when you arrive. You can never be guaranteed anything. Each year is different in some ways. I'll be there the same time you are going. We are going Nov 20-Dec 4th. I'm really starting to get excited especially since I'm making PS ressies.

Have fun!

November 10th - 14th is probably blocked out due to Veterans' Day, Super Soap Weekend and the end of F&W. Certain parks will probably be a little crowded those days but nothing compared to summer, Easter, or Christmas.

We have been the week after Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. My Cousins went last year at that time and did fine till they tried MK on that Sat the week after Thanksgiving and they were filming the Christmas parade with Regis and Kelly!!! MADHOUSE!:crowded:

So just check your schedule and stay away that day. Otherwise it should be wonderful.
Weather is usually so nice too. Sometimes cool at night.

Go to the Christmas party at MK if you can. We loved that. Something about snow fallling on Mainstreet USA!! Very magical!

Re: The Fantasmic dinner package, they tend to have a limited number of seating times available until the park hours (and time of Fantasmic show) have been announced. If you don't get what you want now, try calling back after the hours are announced.

Re: LTT and MVMCP, if this works the same as MNSSHP, PS's for LTT were accepted when the tickets went on sale, which was quite some time ago.
