I started Weight Watchers today. I did Atkins last year, lost 35lbs, but gained all of them (and some of their friends) back. I feel like this is going to be a much better choice for me. The meeting yesterday was packed! Do you go to meetings? Or are you doing this at home? If you go to the meetings, do you get new info every week? I am planning to go to the meetings for now at least.

I wanted to wish you all the success in the world with WW. I don't know what I would do without my on-line support so I'm sure real life support must be even more awesome.

I do WW online & try to be as honest as possible about what I've eaten. My biggest challenge is portion size...I have the WW serving spoons (1/2 cup and 1 cup) for home, but I think I would benefit from having a scale to weigh meats with...

Other than that pitfall (of my own making), I think WW is great & I wish you the best on your journey!!

I go to the meetings and love them. We have a really good leader and the meetings are always fun. I also use the on-line tools, that's how I track my points and they have recipes and message boards so it's adding to the fun.

I had success too, I lost 45 pounds, then stopped going and gained back some of the weight, so now I am back again and the weight is coming off. The program is good, but portion control is a must. I have a scale and use it all the time. Plus the measuring cups sit on my counter.

Do you pay a fee to use the online tracker? That would be good to use. Also, what type of scale would you recommend for measuring food? I do use measuring cups for portion control.

Good Morning Jeanne!!

Welcome to our little neck of the woods:):)

I am also doing WW but online. I have in the past started with the meeting and then life got in the way. So with the support of this board we all can succeed!!

Have a GREAT Friday - watch your portion control and drink your water:):)

Have a magical Disney Day!!

Jeanne, I don't do WW but did want to say that it's great to see you back here on WISH!

Hi Jeanne! :wave2:

Nice to "see" you again. :)

I am sneaking in here and am starting over too. ::yes::

I am doing Atkins, but I am a real believer in WW too! I say, whatever works! :)

Good Luck and I'll see you around.

Sorry I haven't been here in a few days...real life keeps getting in the way!

I pay 12.95 per month for the WW on-line, but you get a free trial when you first join WW. I use a scale that I bought at target, it's made just for weighing food, I think it cost about $6-$7. WW sells one that is much more expensive. The scale has a removable bowl so you can wash it.
