Let me just start by saying how wonderfully helpful this board has been in helping me plan my trip for my family! Without the help, we would have been missing quite a bit of opportunities!
The cast:
Momma- 30 y.o. disney fanatic!
Poppy- 36 y.o. "the level headed one"
Peanut- 7 y.o. (turned 8 at Disney!) The quiet one
Monkey- 5 y.o. The opinionated one
Dec 2nd: Dinner at Pop Century Resort
I will apologize for lack of photos- I had full intentions of taking photos of everything, but got side tracked off the bat!!
Dinner at Pop Century:
This was our first meal at Disney- late in the evening following our 10 hour drive that day- we were starving! We weren't on our dining plan until the next day, so this was an out of pocket dinner.
We all got the refillable mugs- which pushed our grand total for the 4 of us to over $75 for the meal and mugs. Yikes!! Bring on the plan!!
Momma ordered the Parmesan Crusted Chicken: this was wonderful! The tomato sauce was great- chicken was great- very flavorful! Reminded me of Chicken Parmigeana from Olive Garden. Came with a fresh side salad and a bread stick. Yummy!!
Poppy got a to-go side salad from the market place area. He wasn't feeling well that night, so the review was just "ok"- most likely because he was ill.
Peanut got the Kids Mac and Cheese meal with grapes and applesauce. She ate almost all that she was given and enjoyed it very much.
Monkey got the Kids Cheese Pizza with grapes and applesauce. She enjoyed the pizza a lot, didn't care for the applesauce though- it was unsweetened which probably is why she didn't like it.
Pros:
Decent amount of seating
Quick lines
Good selection of food for a value resort!
Cons:
I would not do the mugs again- at $12 per mug, we didn't get our money's worth. We never had time to hike to the food court after the first evening- we were either on our way to the park and didn't want to lug the mugs with us, or it was late at night on our way back in and didn't need the caffeine before bed. They are cute souveniers though- with a holiday theme to them.
