Starting High-School...

Starting High-School September 7th. Anyone else?

Tell me if you are like...excited, sad, happy, ticked off, lol...
Who knows...maybe some of us might end up going to High-School together!

I start the 6th, but I've been in highschool for a while. I'm a junior this year. Good luck! Highschool is fun, even though some people say it's not.

Well, I dont think I'm going to the say school as you because it says you live in NY and seeing as I live in Florida there is no way. But, I started school August 14th and now I'm officially a freshman at CGHS!!

It was scary at first because its a new school. I didnt know anybody there because I recently moved and none of my friends were going there. I was scared I was going to get lost and come in one of my classes late and get yelled at, but I didnt.

High school is great! I'm still trying to get to know everybody and get closer to them. I'm starting to see that, middle school, was in no way like high school. I should have done all the things I wanted to do in middle school because HS is TOTALLY different! But, its really great!

What grade are you going to?

I'm going to Highschool TOMORRROW!!
I'm super scared! Our school didnt even tell us what we need so I am unprepared. I am seriously terrified. but should I even be this scared??

High school isnt as bad as people say it is. It's really fun as weird as it may seem. It will the best 4 yrs. of your life, so enjoy to the fullest. And dont worry, because my school didnt tell us what we need either, just bring the normal things. (Pens, paper, binder, folders, pencils, etc...) Oh, I recommend you bring the folders with the prongs in them. GOOD LUCK!!

Once you walk in you won't know your way around, but you won't know the people either. Just stay true to yourself. You'll find yourser drawing yourself to other people who are like you or just seem to be a nice new friend.

i go next year and am completely terrified! altho, i have TONS of friends going there so i will always have them! i dont really know what im afraid of. the school is small and its a good school its just "high school". i have ALWAYS wanted to go there and know that i am, i wanna flunk 8th grade til i'm 100 so i can avoid it. i dunno, i'm a straight A student, good at sports, i'm just terrified because its "BIGGER" than the other schools i have been to. i dont like the fact that there is tons of exams, homework, tests, and pressure as a freshmen. i hope this year is soooooooooooo slow and next year goes by so fast! so when i a sophmore, i'll handle things a little better.............i hope!

You think your worried now! wait until you are going there in one day and you just thinking you want to go back to 8th grade and back to middle school beucase you dont want to go. I just want to go back to 8th grade because it was seriously the best year of my life!!!

I just started High School today. I was really nervous at first but then I got used to being there. I met some really nice kids and some kind of rude kids but that is nothing new. Overall I think Im gonna like high school.

So nice.
But I'm the same way. I'm not in High school, but I remember my first week of grade seven (it was a realy wake up call) and it was h.ll. I thought I was going to die.
To see the grade seven's in this position now will make me laugh

I have no idea if you started yet so if you did, ignore me. If not, my school doesn't tell us either. The first day I just take a single folder (btw, the ones with prongs have 3 well, prongs, where you can put paper in through the holes and has both pockets) a pen, and the planner that they require us to buy the year before that they give us the first day. You don't need everything the first day ever anyway. After the first day, you'll have a much better idea of what you'll need and some teachers give you silibi telling what exactly you'll need. As a tip for supply shopping, stock up for years worth of supplies while all the sales are there so when you go after you know what you're getting, they aren't expensive, if they're even there. We did this when I was in 6th grade. I'm now in 10th and haven't been school supply shopping since.

Consider yourself lucky that that is all you're not getting, we don't even get our schedules until the morning of day 1!
