Starting dates for Fall Advantage?

My DD was just accepted into the Fall Advantage for Attractions (congrats, honey!!), and I was wondering, what are the report dates? Do you get to have any say in when you report (late or early in the reporting time frame?).

Haha, when I saw this I had to check to see if you were my parent, I was just accepted for attractions for Fall Advantage as well! Congrats to your daughter, she must be so excited!

Though I have not yet accepted, from what I have heard in the past, you do get some say in the date you arrive, though not all arrival dates may be open for you to choose from. As for the dates for this upcoming program I have currently seen everything from May 18th to June 6th.

Once you accept, you fill out a form deciding when you want your start/end dates to be. Every participant will be there pretty much the same length of time. There are 2 starting dates to each end date, for example, Jan 11-May 14 or Jan 14-May 14, and the end dates are staggered for every week, I believe.

It all depends on what is open and how early you get to pick (only so many people per day).

The start dates for FA this year are May 18th, May 23rd, June 6th and June 13th. The departure date for FA is January 3rd. As long as there are spots open with every date, the participant gets to choose the date they check in.

Thanks for the info. I do have another question - she attends a university that's on quarters, but instead of being Fall Advantage Quarter, the acceptance email just says Fall Advantage - she won't be done with finals until June 9th. Wouldn't they put her in Fall Advantage Quarter automatically if that's what her university is on?

Truthfully- I don't know about that. Her best bet with that is to either email or call recruiting. They can switch it around if they need to.

And it's fixed - she's now moved to the Fall program, so she won't miss any of her quarter.
