Starting 9/30, will Sunday EE into DL be exclusive to DLR hotel guests?

If so, this is great news for people staying onsite. Much less people allowed in for early entry.

From the Disneyland.com website, it clearly omits Sunday access for Magic Mornings, reserving Sunday as an EMH day only:

Magic Morning at Disneyland Park for Disneyland Resort Guests with Valid Ticket ...

When is it?
Magic Mornings at Disneyland Park are available during these select days:

Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday through September 29, 2012
Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday beginning October 2, 2012

and

Extra Magic Hour for Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests
For this limited time, both theme parks will be open every day for Extra Magic Hour. After September 29, Extra Magic Hour will be available every day, during a hotel stay, according to this schedule: Disneyland Park on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and Disney California Adventure Park on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Very interesting. Good find. I'll update the Early Admission Superthread. :thumbsup2

Is Sunday the only day that will be EMH only? (I am including both parks in this question.) Unfortunately we are already booked and plane tickets bought so we can't change now. We will be in the parks during a Mon. - Thurs.

No...this will be the new schedule:

Sunday- EMH at DL
Monday- EMH at DCA
Tuesday- EMH and MM at DL
Wednesday- EMH at DCA
Thursday- EMH and MM at DL
Friday- EMH at DCA
Saturday- EMH and MM at DL

I guess so much for the earlier speculation (Hydroguy's thread) it was going to be a DCA day.

FWIW, it was not speculation. The published DLR calendar on their website showed (and still shows right now) EE to DCA on Sundays (Sept 30, Oct 7, 14 and 21). There is conflicting info on the DLR website which is unfortunate. I have no idea which way is correct but I would caution DLR29 from acting too fast on this. I have no vested interest in any of these outcomes whether Sundays are EMH at DL or DCA. Just telling folks what the calendar shows.

I called Disneyland about a week ago and asked about EE on the 30th of Sept. they sounded pretty sure about it being DCA that day and that's what the calendar is showing too.

I am a happy camper! We can do DCA EMH twice during our trip without MM people.

So it looks like MM is only at DL, not ever at DCA? The only people who can get into DCA early are those that stay onsite, is that correct?

Friday- EMH at DCA, EMH at DL
Saturday- EMH and MM at DL, EMH at DCA

I've bolded the times that DLR hotel guests get exclusive DL access. So instead of going from getting 3 days per week alone at DL down to 0, they softened the blow, and gave DLR hotel guests one exclusive day.

That calendar shows Matterhorn Bobsleds are under refurbishment starting October 1st. First time I read about it, does anybody know why.

Well bummer. I thought we mere mortals ;) not staying at Disney hotels had at least a day or two a week without people already in DCA. In hindsight I would have considered staying onsite, but by the time I found out about the EMH it was a bit late to switch.

Huh, that's a new one to me too. I think a lot of people would wish it was to add cushy padded seats, but it's probably just some post re-furb tweaking if it's accurate info.

Nope, first I heard about it. But looking at the calendar, it appears to be a short refurb -- just Oct 1-3.

That calendar shows more Early Entry days into DCA per week (4) than DL (3). I think that would be a first.

It looks like you're at least a month out? You will have a fair chance at it 3 days a week. I on the other hand, am going in a week and a half (after the every day early entry into DCA was supposed to end - but then it was extended) and have no idea how we're going to visit Carsland. We're going to be an hour behind in either park every day...to me, it's really annoying that they extended it.

Wow! You're right! We were considering switching hotels a week ago and everything on Harbor Blvd is booked so I assumed that the Disney hotels would be booked too. Humm now I have some thinking to do. Big suite for the 5 of us or more money for a standard room with EMH :scratchin
