Start Date for Osborne Lights 2014?

I was happy to see that the Osborne Family Lights will be on display this year (we've never seen them, but my friend says it was THE most magical moment of her whole trip). I've looked and looked and can't find a date that they go up--all I see is "mid-November." We will be at HS on 11/12 (also have Fantasmic package booked) and I'm desperate to see the lights, but really don't want to move our days and ressies around. Any one have any clear news on the start date, or at least feel confident that they'll be up on 11/12?

They typically debut the same night as the first Christmas party at MK, so this year I would expect November 7. The only nights they won't show after that would be when DHS closes early for a private event.

We were there in 2013 on November 11. We saw the 6:30 fantasmic and then saw the lights. I can't remember if the park closed at 8 or 9 but we had time to see both.

Private corporations, corporate conventions, and sports organizations rent out the park. Cast Member recognition events are also held there.

The only way to know it will happen is to check the park calendar and early closings such as 6:00 or 4:00 p.m. usually indicates a private event will be held.

They will be up before the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon, which is on November 8, so you should be good to go!
