Start Chick-In button showing up early??

Anyone know why my start check-in button showed up when I'm still 152 days out from my onsite stay? Is there any reason I should avoid clicking & seeing what it does?

Ever since they tried to fix the issue of no room request options showing during Online Check In, they broke something else. Many, many reports here on the DIS of people getting the option to do Online Check In wayyyyyy earlier than 60 days. People have been able to successfully do it early, but since this just started nobody knows the ramifications if any.

I'm 306 days out and have the Start Check In option.

I've over 100 days out and I was able to check in successfully on my phone, but I didn't see any room request options. When I try to update my check in I don't have the option to update anything. I guess this means I have to go through my TA.

I was able to do it on my computer, however, it switched my requests from option 1 and option 2. I chose 70s building first (at POP) and highest floor second, but it switched them. When we called the CM didn't seem surprised that we could check in that early. She said she switched it back, but now when I look I have no location requests. I'm just going to wait until it's really 60 days out.
