Stars homes & self guided tours?

Anyone know if there are any self guided tours of the stars homes? Where you can buy a map and pop in a cassette which explains what you are seeing? Curious...

I know they sell the maps pretty cheap right by Mann's Chinese Theater, the same place you can catch a tour. I though it was worth it to park and take the tour in my opinion, you can park in the Kodak Theater parking lot, and after you get on the bus you actually get a chance to look without worrying about other cars, driving, distractions, etc. Not to mention there's a ton of extra info given by the tour driver. I've never seen a casette version but that's such a good idea!

We did a tour and picked it up at the Kodac theater, parking at the Kodac theater is cheaper then what you would think. I believe it was like $7.00 for the whole day. The tour was about $31.00 per person that we booked advance online, however if they have someone standing outside trying to sell seats on the next available tour they will sell them for like half that to fill up the mini bus. The tour sure shows a lot of famous people live next to each other on Mullholand drive. We also went to Beverly Hills and had about twenty minutes there. It was fun and when it ended we walked around Hollywood for a bit. If you do the self guided tour then the driver misses out on some of the things if there are cars behind you.
