Starring Rolls to go

So this might be a stupid question, but does Starring Rolls have boxes for the cupcakes if you get more than one. We are going to the mouse house in October and will be going to DHS at rope drop for Toy Story and RnR only. Then we are going to AK. We will have a car, so I am hoping we can get a couple and take them back to our room before going to AK. Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes they do. They close at 4 so make sure you get there before then.

I got a couple of cupcakes to go in December 2009 so I can't be sure things are the same but here's what I found. There were clear clamshell type containers for the cupcakes, but each one had to go in its own container and they really didn't fit the containers very well. I had to lie them down and squish them a little. They still tasted just as good (drool worthy) when we ate them back at our resort later on but they certainly didn't look as good.

Very tasty, and yes, they do get a little squished in the to-go containers.

I got a cupcake before I left the park, and by the time I got back to my resort (YC), it was slightly melted. Still tasty, but melted. Luckily, we had a fridge so it was able to recoup a bit

If you have your own car take a cooler & other containers - like the others have said, the cupcakes are larger than the take-out containers they offer so you have to squish them down. They also melt very quickly & wouldn't make it in a hot car for a few hours! Some might even have dairy ingredients in their fillings and/or frosting & toppings, so you wouldn't want to risk that being in the hot car all day either.

They close at 4 but also be aware they don't continuously replenish the cupcakes. Once they're gone, they're gone. We've been there at 2pm when there weren't any left. I almost cried!

Thanks guys. We do have a car, so I will put the cooler in it and bring my own container. We will only be at DHS for 2 hours at most, so hopefully they will still have some on our way out. I will make a trip to resort before continuing on to the next park.
