We had a great lunch at Starring Rolls at DHS last week. I have read so many times people complaining about the lack of good counter service at DHS that I want to let others know about this place. My turkey sandwich was very good and my daughters both had sushi (California Roll) and would reccommend it. Afterwards we shared one of those huge Butterfinger cupcakes. It was enough for all three of us and it was fantastic. This was actually one of our best lunches of the entire trip.

Yeah! My family and I were discussing Starring Rolls the other day. It's fantastic. We usually stop there for breakfast, but this year we really want to try some of those big sandwiches!

I hate CS dining options at HS, but I LOVE Starring Rolls! We always get a treat there and this October we will be eating lunch there as well.

do you know what is all on these? like sauces etc
Thanks

I'm sorry but I can't remember. The turkey did have something because it wasn't dry. The turkey is shaved and piled high on top of a layer of something green. I don't think it was avocado, maybe a very mild pepper but I am just guessing. I think the sandwich is made on a big round loaf bread and cut into quarters. Whatever, it was very good.

The California Roll came with wasabi, soy sauce and I think a little ginger.

So glad to read this. I am looking forward to checking out SR. I am going to be getting my sushi fix at this location. While I know there are much better places for Sushi around WDW, I am traveling with a group that do not eat it. And do not relish a TS place that serves it. Boo for them, but yea for me, looking forward to SR for sure now... Thanks for posting this info...

I love the food at SR but I wish they had longer hours. They don't stay open very late into the afternoon.

Sushi? Thanks for the tip, we may have to check out Starring Rolls. Sounds like it could be an oasis in the CS wasteland at DHS.

We ate breakfast at Starring Rolls last November and it was a treat. Yeah, when ever I read about DHS not having good dining options I always say to myself - What about Starring Rolls Cafe and 50's Prime Time? I Love them both.

We don't plan on going to HS next trip. But I was thinking of going at park opening to ride TSM, then having breakfast at Starring Rolls. Then if weather is permitting going to Blizzard Beach. If weather doesn't permit then we can stay in HS. We went to BB last year when it was only about 67 degrees but we felt like we had the park to ourselves and it was alot of fun.

Thanks was just curious because of allergies it does sound good though

Wow! I didn't realize they had sushi there. Sounds like a perfect lunch..sushi followed by a giant cupcake

Anyone know the earliest you can get lunch there? I"m thinking 11:00am? I know the tables can be hard to come by.
