Starbucks VIA Instant Coffee

searched for this thread after coming across it a couple months ago and I am happy I found these tips I love Starbucks coffee and I trust their products so I will definitely purchase this instant coffee to take on our trip because since we will now be staying at Pop we will not have a coffee maker in our room. I am still wondering about access to hot water though? But I think I can just add a pack of the VIA to the resort coffee since we will be getting the refillable mugs.

We took Starbucks instant coffee last year, and I found splitting the packet worked well. I'm not a huge fan of super strong coffee, so we bought Italian Roast and then split it. It tasted great! We also got free hot water all around the world, including Sunshine Seasons, and used the sugar and creamers. Consider taking ground coffee and filters and making some in your room. You can buy a small milk and keep it in your fridge for mixing. We do that too.

Best instant coffee EVER! I love the Columbian, but the only flavored one I really like is vanilla. Just bought some Italian roast packets, and they are good, too.
BTW--If you have an Albertson's nearby, check to see if their Italian roast 3-packs are marked down. Ours were 10 for $10, and the price was good through April something. Those are going with me to Disney in May. YUM!!

OMG thank you so much!! This is a FABULOUS idea!!! I started buying the instant at Christmas time because although we have a POD coffee maker I wanted Christmas Blend (and I hate washing the filters) so I love the coffee.

I'm going to take Christmas Bblend with me to Disney -- I hate their morning coffee -- it's about the only thing I DON'T like in Disney LOL.

I know this sounds silly but that just made my day.

I bought a large box of the Via at Costco and took them to POP last summer.

How much was the Via at Costco?
I tried it at Sam's Club but didn't think about it until later that it would be great to bring with us instead of drinking the Nescafe crap. Seriously, I can't believe they try to pawn the Nescafe off as "coffee."

Yes, VIA is fantastic (I'm an Italian roast coffee) but the iced coffee packets are a game changer! I live in L.A. and while I can usually buy or find cold &/or iced water, good iced coffee might not be there. With a packet in my pocket, I'm all set. So glad to pack it for WDW rope drop mornings (light & easy in suitcase) and travel days. Going to make it all so much more pleasant. Be warned, I find the sugar rush a stunner.
And yes, the park "coffee" is a crime. Same here at Disneyland resort. I did a food survey once and couldn't write enough negative things about it!
