Starbucks VIA Instant Coffee

My Keurig Mini goes with me wherever I go, but I sampled Via several weeks back (not horrible for instant) and will be anxious to see if it mixes with Nescafe and creates something that is somewhat drinkable! The Keurig is still going with me, but until they make a portable coffee-maker belt-pack , Via may be the next best option outside of the hotel room!

I love love love it!!! I get the italian roast and leave it in my locker at work since our coffee at work taste like mud!! Even worse than disney!!!! blak blak blak:eek: I also got some caremel vanilla powdered creamer that I keep with it, and it is absolutly heavenly!!! Delicious!!!

the iced via is amazing... made with chocolate milk!!

that's what my local starbucks has for tastings and they got me hooked!!

makes my mornings easier and cheaper for sure!!

I'm thinking I'm going to have to try the iced with chocolate milk!!

I took them last year and we loved them. I hate instant coffee and the Starbucks was not yucky at all. I bought a few of the flavored kind. I only drink one cup a day and it needs to taste good unlike the kind at the resorts. Another hint if you have to drink the resort coffee is to bring your own flavored creamers, the individual kind. We will bring a couple of boxes with us and it makes their coffee taste much better. The box of 24 only costs around $3.00. The hazelnut and french vanilla are very easy to find.

If you have a Costco near you, just saw the VIA there, and they even were offering a coupon on it.

I love the Italian Roast VIA. I usually just add a bit to blah coffee when we are out and it kicks it up a notch for me. I like my coffee dark and flavorful - and the VIA works great.

I bought a large box of the Via at Costco and took them to POP last summer. I prepared it one of 3 ways.

#1 mixed with some cold water and added ice for iced black coffee. I like it strong so I would use 2 packs.

#2 Fill my mug with the hot coffee from everything pop and add a pack of the Via to make it strong enough to be palatable.

#3 Since we were on quick service plan (with free mugs) every meal we ate at POP I used my mug for free drinks and used my beverage credit for a bottle of the fancy iced coffee drink they have in the cooler area - like a sweetish cappucinno thing. I would put that in the frig and make a sweet iced coffee drink some mornings.

If you had the luggage space, you could take a water boiler for your room if you really need hot coffee. I am such an addict, I will take it however I can get it....lol!

I bought a 6 pack of the Via Mocha stuff last week with a coupon in the store for a free small coffee drink. Since my overpriced Mocha Latte costs $4.00 the via 6 pack only cost 2.95. It was very good, but be warned that it has sugar as the main ingredient.

Glad to see this thread, I was wondering how the VIA is. I keep seeing the commercial, and the caramel one sounds good! Didn't know they had the iced ones, have to try those too!

There is definitely a hot water spigot in all the coffee areas at the resorts. I'm a not tea drinker and use it a lot.

If you don't have a refillable mug, bring your own mug or cup (personally, I can't stand styrofoam) and get some hot water. No one will mind.

Has anyone tried the Starbucks Via Instant Coffee? I hate the Nescrape :rolleyes1, so I'm thinking of trying this, but it's kinda pricey. However, I might just go for it since anything is better than the stuff at the resorts.

I am so picky toward coffee but LOVE IT LOVE IT LOOOOVE IT!

You can get it much cheaper at BJ's.

It really IS worth the money.

New Christmas blend is out now and it is fabu!!!

Sip, Enjoy and you will be very happy you did!

P.S. the flavored ones, aren't that good. They are "ok" Just an FYI.

Tried it and loved it. The key is to let it sit for a few minutes to allow the coffee to completely dissolve.
Look for $1 coupons.:surfweb:

Try the maxwell house frozen coffee in the reg coffee isle I think they cost 1.50 for 6 pouches. Put a little milk and sugar in there ummmmmmm goooood.

I participated in the taste test were prepared Starbuck regular coffee and instant side by side. I could not make a difference.
