I don't think there's any consistency in the way these are made or taste. However, I would say it was just kind of weird. They call it "flavor-changing" because it's all sorts of different things put together that can taste different depending on how well they're mixed.

I live a hundred miles from the nearest Starbucks, so I'll have to let this treat come and go without me. Point of order, however: if I'm hankering for mango, I'll just buy mango juice at the Asian grocery (which is only 50 miles away: hooray for living in the middle of nowhere!).

How is that possible in America? Lol!

This both sounds and looks disgusting...way too sweet for me.

Honestly, I am a coffee purist. I only drink strong, black coffee. My go to drink at Starbucks is a Grande Cold Brew, no sweetener or milk. 5 calories and 0 grams of sugar.

I'm OBSSESSED with the cold brew. I throw down a trenta on the regular. No sugar or milk. Straight cold brew. So delicious.

My husband has family that lives quite remotely. We were just visiting them in MO, and being a born and raised a SoCal girl, no longer living there doesn't take the city away, I am always out of my element when we visit. They think it's just so funny that I cannot adapt to the 2 hour drive to "town" ...

Now I've got to try this. I've been drinking the exact same thing, not wanting to mess with my particular coffee perfection for 15-20 years. Maybe I should start looking at menus.

My grandparents are similar. They don't even have solid cell service let alone internet. I'm not even sure if there is a Sbux near them. A Wal-Mart is about 30 minute drive but Target/Starbucks is about an hour to 2 unless one has been added since the last time I was there.

Cold brew is great. It is such a smooth coffee blend that even I a sugar lover get half sweetened and less milk with it. I now only get cold brew coffee and tea. The only downside is cold brew takes up more coffee and tea leaves so if it become the standard we may have some ecological backlash from that.

I tried it with both the original mango flavor and with raspberry instead (my husband hates mango) and the raspberry was better by far. I'm not a frap person anyway so it's not something I'd usually get but I had to try it once!

I've been to places like that. However, there still might be a roadside McDonald's. There are vast stretches of desert scrubland in the west, but of course roadside businesses every 30-70 miles.

Montana can have stretches where there's a small town 80 miles from any semblance of a mid sized town. I've even found myself in California where it's a small town with small town businesses.

I try to forget about the time I had to spend in Montana. I also HATE driving and road trips and the country, unless its Ireland, in which case I'm down. I'm just thinking that seems a long way on the interstate between Starbucks, ya know?

I'm 40 minutes from the interstate, that's a big part of it. Once I'm on the interstate, there's McDonald's, WalMart, and other stuff that's prolific, like that. But I can't think of a Starbuck's in any of the little towns on I-44 between St. Louis and here; you have to get into the 'burbs before you start seeing any of those.

As I was sitting in my training class today, gazing out the window (we are right next door to a Starbucks), a *very* pregnant woman was walking down the sidewalk drinking a VERY LARGE unicorn frapp in the largest cup I've ever seen at a Starbucks (not sure what size that would be). All I could think was the amount of sugar in that thing must have been off the charts.

My wife had gestational diabetes when she was pregnant. She was extremely cranky as a result because she basically couldn't have anything sugary and had to severely limit even stuff like white bread. From what I remember about it, the main issue is that with so much blood sugar, there wasn't like Type I diabetes risks, but excessive birth weight and other potential health risks.

I'm not quite sure where I might find myself in a place like that. I've been in some remote spots like Jackson, WY. However, that's a ski town, and there's no lack of fast food places, supermarkets, as well as a Starbucks.

I do remember finding myself at a Chinese restaurant in Moab, Utah. We asked one of the employees how they got what they needed since any distributor was probably miles away. An employee said they got whatever they could from the local supermarket, but had to get certain items from Salt Lake City Asian markets every few weeks.
