You can add those gift cards to your account on the Starbucks app, and then you'd earn stars for your purchases.

Wow, I didn't know you could do that. I'll have her download the app and start earning stars! As much as she (and I) go to Starbuck's it should add up pretty quickly! Thanks for the tip!!

I only recently got a phone with enough memory to download the app. Even without it, I could add gift cards to my online account and earn rewards when using them. All you really need is a starbucks rewards account, whether online or through the app. I do really like using the app to order ahead though!

Disney has always had horrible coffee (remember Nescafé) the few cents extra for Starbucks is worth it for a decent cup of coffee.

It is a star system in the US, too. Used to be based on number of visits, now it is on dollar amount.

Ah, I see that on Starbucks.ca, they talk about a "Star" system. The more stars you accumulate, the more free stuff you can get. It's 2 stars per $1 spent. See how often I get to a Starbucks?

No, you can't order via the app. The in park Starbucks aren't set up for this.

It does look like you can use the app in Disney Springs for ordering ahead, though.
