Starbucks Music Question

I just bought my afternoon coffee at the Starbucks downstairs. They sell CDs there now, and they were featuring one by Dean Martin. Plus they were selling CDs by Sly and the Family Stone, John Fogerty, Bob Dylan and Frank Sinatra. The in-store sound system was playing "Sister Golden Hair" by America, circa 1973.

Since the employees are all 20-somethings with multiple tattoos/piercings, my question is how do they not kill themselves before their shift ends?
