Starbucks is evil

I had to stop after 2 of those Banana Coconut Fraps. It was either those or gas for the car :thumbsup2

White chocolate peppermint mocha - ohhhhh yeaaaa! :cheer2:

We live in a town of 5,000 people give or take 1,000 and we have a starbucks, another one being built (with drive through!!), a local espresso shop, and a bakery with espresso.

They just remodeled our Target (it's half a super Target) and now it has a Starbucks, not to be outdone by the Fred Meyers across the street with the Starbucks upstairs in the book section with seats overlooking the store.....

Then again it's Seattle, you can't sneeze without hitting a coffee place of some sort. :teeth:

Their hot chocolate is awesome too! I had a lovely peppermint hot choc this weekend. Yummy!

I had an eggnog latte yesterday, YUM! They just opened a starbucks in my tiny little town, I think were on the map now. I try to keep my addiction to once a week but with the christmas flavors its becoming harder and harder! Now I am also addicted to the shaken ice tea lemonade. Perfect for the 90 degree weather we have been having.

:rotfl: When it rains as much as it does here you need the coffee to keep you moving! My 10 year old has developed a taste for it, too bad I don't make it at home very often. :teeth:

I'd like to pretend I'm all superior to you $tarbuck$ addicts :snooty: because I don't drink coffee.

However, a friend of mine got me hooked on the shaken passion iced tea lemonades and I can't pass a $tarbuck$ without getting one. Fortunately, the closest $tarbuck$ is 30 minutes away. :bitelip:

There is a new Starbucks minutes from our house. I rarely go to Starbucks, but I wanted to check out the new place.

Having a Gingerbread Latte is is such a good treat! :goodvibes

I used to go to starbucks 3 times a day 7 days a week = $4300 a year = yearly cruise for 2. So i quit, cold turkey! I was really stressed the other day and I went to starbucks and ordered 2 at once and drank them both in an hour I might add!

Starbucks is great, but think about the money and the calories and it's easy to quit.

Jusy say NO, to Starbucks.

I kinda wish the new job had a Starbucks next door. Then I wouldn't be worried that I'd be going over every day.

No, we've got an Indigo-Tampa's much better coffee house. Four years ago, I wouldn't have cared, now I love the stuff. It'd be even worse for me if it were a Barnies-but Starbucks bought them.

My new boss was telling me she buys herself a $20 gift card every week. When it's gone, no more Indigo for the week. I have a feeling I'll be doing the same thing, lol!

Good morning, fellow addicts...dissing with a peppermint mocha in hand...

Maybe we need to start a support group. I too am addicted. As are my DS9 & DD13.
I am partial to a grande, non-fat mocha w/ whipped cream and a slice of pumpkin loaf. Love the pumpkin loaf! It goes so nicely with the mocha. So does the holiday gingerbread loaf but the cream cheese frosting is a bit overpowering.
DS9 is a vanilla creamer with dulce powder and a shot of cold milk addict. (Sophisticated drinker, my DS9 is.)
DD13 is a strawberries & cream frap girl all the way.
DH hates the stuff & won't even go into a 'Four-bucks', as he calls it, because they don't sell soda. He prefers the gas station around the corner  .
Kind of funny how DH thinks I can get out of there for only four bucks.

I'm thinking he doesn't drink the stuff! :rotfl2:

Went through the drive though at Dunkin donuts last week and got a Caramel Cappucino Blast. I wasn't paying attention (on the phone with Lizdotcom99, that's my excuse! LYMI) and I got a Large (and she's on speakerphone saying "No, extra large!")

Anyway, DD, usually my CHEAP coffee fix, was 5 bucks! Granted, the thing was 32 oz. :rotfl2:

Lucky me, no Starbucks around here unless you want to drive two hours...
Does such a place really exist??? I thought there was a Starbucks on every corner in this country! ;)

I went on Monday and my coffe shack's special was cheesecake. OMG, that was great. Why do they make such good, sweet coffees? Luckily I only need two more punches on my card and I get a free one.

Oh, Starbucks....how I hate you,yet...I love you! Why have you tempted me with your delicious coffee concoctions? And my children love your hot chocolate and steamers.

On a more depressing note, have you looked at the nutritional info? It's enough to make you want to gouge your eyes out. :rotfl2:

I get skim lattes with cinnamon powder. I get some calcium without any fat, as well as some anti-oxidants from the cinnamon. I can't tell a difference in the taste of whole milk or skim when it's in coffee.

Oh fellow coffee addicts I have found the mothership!

I now work at a coffee shop to help a friend out and let me tell you, I havent had coffee like this since I left Hawaii!

Its called Dawson Taylor and its local to Boise omgosh it is so much better than Starbucks! And its cheaper!

You can check it out at www.dawsontaylor.com

YUM. I am now on a permanent coffee high ;)

I like the place but don't go because I feel it costs too much by half. And, sometimes the quality varies a lot depending on loaction. It shouldn't, but in my experience, it does.

I went to Starbucks this morning, got a Caramel Frappucino. Came back to the office, put it on my desk, sat down. Went to reach for my mouse, hit the CF, knocked it over, spilled a lot of it, nearly cried.
