Starbucks gift cards in Cozumel?

I bet someone around here will know. If I bring US gift cards with can I use them at the Starbucks in Cozumel? TIA!

I've used my digital (on my phone using the app) Starbucks gift cards in Mexico on a number of occasions. I haven't used them specifically Cozumel, but in Puerto Vallarta I have. The receipt shows in pesos, but I checked the card later and the appropriate amount came off in USD based on the exchange rate I googled.

If that's so, it's pretty amazing, because you are getting a foreign rate without any fees or inflated exchange rates! Cool!

In 49 days I can report back. Cozumel is our port on Thanksgiving day so I hope to use the wifi at Starbucks to Skype with family back home.

Same here. We haven't been to Cozumel (yet) but I've used my Starbucks card in Puerto Vallarta, Cancun and Cabo - with no problems.
