Starbucks EPCOT-Updated Temporary Location Opening Dec 20

They were supposed to put a temporary SB inside the Odyssey but I think those plans were scrapped. I personally don't think one is coming until late next year or early 2021.

If you are staying in a hotel with a Keurig and really need some Starbucks in the morning, I suggest buying some Starbucks keurig pods and making it in your room. It might not be the same as drinking it inside the store but hey its cheaper

Yep. I told Micky on our Epcot day we will have to go in DHS first to Starbucks for my refresher and then on to Epcot. I was only half kidding... ;)

LOL I would NOT be kidding! I was thinking of flipping HS and Epcot around on Black Friday, but we might be leaving it the way it is if I can't get my iced coffee in the morning.

I have $150 in free Starbucks $$ in my app that I plan to use at Disney. Won't be spending much time at EPCOT, guess I can use it at the locations in other parks and Disney Springs.

I think all 3 speedways have a small dunkin donuts inside but they are limited menu
Never knew this! Thanks!! I've never stopped at those because I tend to fill up well before I hit 'campus' assuming their prices all have the Disney tax applied.

Also good to know that Epcot now has my favorite kind of Starbucks....a CLOSED one. :P (no offense intended, I just hate their awful overpriced coffee)

The Car Care Center near MK also has Dunkin coffee although you’d need a car to get there.
That's the 3rd Speedway.

I have been to the station near epcot a few times but I never payed attention to what was inside. From what I can see on google I think it's just a self serve coffee bar with a few pastries. Also tax should be 7% unless they changed it

By "Disney tax" I assume you are talking the typical Disney mark up. At least at one time they were contractually required to charge the prevailing rates being charged at off property locations.

Over the years, I have found the gas prices similar to off property prices and even prices back home Jacksonville. I have no qualms in filling up on-property.

I won't be surprised if Starbuck's finds a new location next year sometime. They know how many people have it in their plan each day. But if they don't other coffee places will be sure to benefit.
My guess is there's something contractual where Disney reserves the right to do what they want with the location, including temporarily close it to re-theme it. All of the Starbucks locations fit in with the theme of the park and even sell Disney exclusive treats, so they aren't your typical Starbucks.

I read a few months ago that a tempory location was opening in the Odyssey Pavilion.
Perhaps when Food & Wine is over? I was just in the Odyssey Pavilion last week and part of it is dedicated to the limited Epcot Forever merchandise, and the other part is dedicated to the craft beer stand for Food & Wine, I believe. But once Food & Wine is over, there would be counter space and seemingly enough room for a temporary Starbucks. Not sure what would be involved with temporarily setting up the equipment, but it seems like the kind of space that could accommodate it.

I don't go to Starbucks, I go to Joffrey's. Not because I think the coffee is better. But because there is never a line a mile long. I'm not picky enough to prefer one brand over the other. I hate standing in the Starbuck's lines.
But I agree, Odyssey would be a great place to put a temp SB.

I really hope they do it. It would be perfect timing for me! :)

If the original projected closing date for Starbucks was 11/23, with a plan for relocating to Odyssey, then the PP theory above about food and wine makes sense. The location closed way earlier than originally planned, so with the festival going on they couldn't move it. With the 11/23 date it would have only been a few days until F&W ended and a move would have been a lot easier, so seeing it pop up there after could still be the plan, just with a longer interim.

We didn't mind too much on our last visit in Sept., because we do prefer the coffee at Joffrey, but were bummed to not be able to get our refresher. There's nothing else quite like those in the parks.

I know for Coke Products/Bottled Water the prices are on par with what your neighborhood Speedways will cost

Starbucks lovers rejoice!! Temporary Starbucks location coming to the Rose Walk near the Refreshment Port, opening Dec 20

I was wondering what was going into the building they were constructing back in October...I originally thought it was the Mickey Meet but that's apparently going into part of the Magic Eye Theater's queue area

I'm going to Epcot now and will double check, but I thought the new building were restrooms cause the ones next to the refreshment port were closed.
