I know the Starbucks partners/employees in the DTD Starbucks are Starbucks employees but what about the baristas inside the parks; are they Disney or Starbucks employees? I'm leaning towards Disney but truly don't know.

Do the Starbucks employees who work in DTD get any sort of Disney perks/benefits?

:thanks:

In park employees are Disney employees. I'm not sure if DTD employees get any perks. I did hear at one point they were getting twice yearly passes but not much else.

Thank you! :thumbsup2 My DD works for Starbucks and will hopefully be transferring to the DTD location once she graduates next summer.

It looks like she cannot use her partner discount inside the parks' Sbux either.

yeah you also can't get your free bag anymore either. I was a SB partner when they first came to the parks and also worked at WDW. I was offered to go to the Epcot location since I already worked for both companies but chose not to since I was ready to move on from Sbux.

No mark out either, good to know!

You worked for both at the same time? Had you taken the Epcot position would you have been an employee of both still. That's interesting.

Hope your move from Sbux has been good. :goodvibes

No I would not have been an employee of SBux any more. I was offered the move when the manager of the Epcot sbux found out I was a lead at one of the busiest Sbux in NYC. I was a seasonal attractions hostess for Disney and I was told if I wanted to come back to Disney permanently that he would make sure I ended up ok the Sbux team.

I have been told that all DTD employees get a maingate pass that allows them to sign themselves in, but only managers in DTD can sign others in, even if they aren't Disney employees.

Yes this is the case - my wife is a manager at the Jamba Juice in DTD.

She can get herself in for free, but only the GM of the store can sign others in.
