I tried to do a search with no success. What are the pros and cons of staying on the starboard or the portside verandah state rooms?
Thanks,
Annie

We have sailed 7 times and I couldn't care which side I was on. At each port it all depends on how the ship is docked, forward or backward....so technically it can change all the time. For instance...sometimes the Captain pull into CC forwards, sometimes backwards. In Grand Cayman you dock in the harbor so you have a lovely view all around. Sometimes you need to tender in St. Thomas as well.

Port or Starboard would be the least of my concerns when sailing. I would be more concerned having a cabin under a nightclub or something.

I've cruised on Deck 5 Aft all 4 cruises and have only stayed portside once. I love being starboard side and have booked my staterooms accordingly. Starboard side has always given me the best view of Castaway Cay, St. Thomas, and even Nassau (toward the ocean and view of Atlantis). Yes, it does depend how you pull in, but my experiences have always been backing in and I hope that doesn't change!!!

Thanks for your replies... I was just curious because it's not even something I thought about when booking...
