Can anyone give me the info on this event? I think we'll be there for the last weekend and my ds is a huge SW fan. I am just now hearing about it.

We were there 3 years ago and will be there this trip aswell. They open the rope drop with storm troopers. As you walk around the park there are star wars characters walking around all over. THey have Mickey dressed up as a jeti in the main stage and you can have your pics taken with him. They had an area with a x wing fighter that you can pay to have pic taken in. THey sell lots of souviners with star wars theme. We have a pic somewhere with Darth Vadar and 2 storm troopers. They also have a jedi training area. They chose kids from the crowd and they play with light sabers. THis is a raise your hand and be choosen kind of random ( lots of pushy parents) All in all we had alot off fun. It is also good that it pulls people out of the other parks.

We r big SW fans too. Usually it runs the month of june but this year it came earlier. We will just make the last weekend!

Actually, last year they left off the first weekend (Memorial Day) because there was a Star Wars Celebration out in California and thy didn't want to have competing events. We've been to a SWC before and had a great time meeting lots of cast and hearing about how teh movies came together. DS won second place ina costume contest. We also have friends in the international fan group called the 501st. For us, the attraction is the chance to see the actors again and expereince the Disney spin on the franchise. (We may even know some of the storm troopers that are attending......)

I'm looking forward to going this year. In fact, it's 1 am, we're supposed to leave in 4 hrs and I haven't gone to bed yet....... I may be too excited to sleep.....

Does anybody know how they do EMH with SWW? I will be there the first weekend in June and was wondering. Thanks!

We're quite bummed because the SWW were shortened this summer and won't go through our usual dates in June! I'm trying to understand the reason. Anyone know why there's fewer of them this year?
