How was this event, it sounds Awesome if you're a fan.

How long was the line for the Jedi training, and what do the kids do?

How crowded more than normal was it.

Thanks,
I imagine that there are some pretty cool costumes down there.

very cool costumes.

the lines are so long they can be a problem.

the kids I saw were using the laser swords.

expect this time to take hours of your time.

We went in 2005 and the Jedi Training was the absolute highlight of my DS's whole trip (age 5 at the time, and already a huge Star Wars fan). We watched it once, then went and did other things. Later on, DS kept asking "Dad, when am I going to get my jedi training?" We went back while DW and DD's went to the Little Mermaid show. We waited through 2 presentations, without getting selected, but working our way toward the front. By that time the rest of the family had returned. We said, "okay girls, if anyone gets picked, DS goes up". I caught the Jedi Trainer's eye when he first came out to start the next training session, and lo and behold he picked all 3 of my kids (thank goodness!). DS talked about it constantly afterward, even asking people on the buses if they had had their jedi training yet. :chewy:

How magical! We were there a few years ago during Star Wars weekend . . . kind of stumbled onto it! Now we're so excited that we'll be there this year for the first Star Wars weekend. Lots of fun. Just watching the "fans" in the park is entertaining!
