Star Wars Weekend/Episode III at AMC

Just a heads up as I have read a couple of threads about getting advance tickets for Episode III at AMC whilst visting WDW for this years Star Wars weekend. Tickets are on sale now in advance for the AMC theater at Downtown Disney. The ticket site I looked at was movietickets.com, they seemed to have quite a few showings. I didn't buy any myself as I have a DS4 who really isn't up to a PG13, but for all of you heading down to the Star Wars weekend I am sure you would want to know! I hope that this is okay to post here.

Actualy I just got mine at www.movietickets.com too. 8:30pm showing on May 19.

Looks like 3 showings - 2 sold out already for the 12:01. Make sure you check for May 18th as that is where the show is coming up with the 3 showings. The midnight on the 19th would be thursday night/ friday morning. Be sure to get wednesday night/thursday morning for the real first showing - This may confuse some people when buying tix

Movie theaters often have advance tickets for sale at a number of outlets. movietickets.com just happened to be the one I checked. I've not actually heard of the one you mentioned.

Just to clarify moviewatcher.com vs movietickets.com -- moviewatcher.com is the AMC frequent movie watcher website. If you click on buy tickets from moviewatcher.com, then it links you to movietickets.com, but you can also go directly to movietickets.com. If you use the AMC moviewatcher link, and enter your AMC moviewatcher card number (free to get), then you don't get charged a service charge for buying the tickets.
