Star Wars Weekend Dates for NEXT year???

Last year, my 7 y.o. Star Wars fanatic son was so excited we would be in WDW in May, only to find out that since Episode II was coming out in 2002, they had their own celebration in IN and not much at WDW. I believe the next Star Wars movie is coming out in 2005 (correct me if I'm wrong), so could I be fairly confident that WDW will have a SW Weekend in 2004? We usually make reservations as far out as we can, but I wonder about dates. Would the SW Weekend be from mid-May to mid-June again? Who could I ask for sure?

A reseveration for late May would be a good bet

They didn't announce the dates until mid February. I believe the official announcement came out on Valentine's Day for the actual dates. I would guess the same dates as this year, but in years past, it had been for jus the month of May. It may be tough to get anyone to nail down dates, but mid to late May would most likely be your safest bet if they are doing the weekends again next year, as long as George Lucas agrees to it

They have to do it next year. We are already planning a surprise trip for our 3 year old who has a split personality...The Real Buzz Lightyear and a Jedi Knight. He actually tries to use the force to move things!!!

Thanks for asking the question. We had been thinking of going in June b/c we wanted to combine it with his b-day, but now I know to try for mid to late May!
