Star Wars weekend crowds?

We will be going to WDW May29-June3. How bad are the crowds during Star Wars weekends? Are there any ways to avoid the worst of the crowds other than avoiding the Studios entirely? Are the Studios crowded everywhere or just near Star Tours? What about Friday or Monday? We don't get that excited about Star Wars and would rather make the most of the rest of our visit if th Studios is going to be inundated with people.

The weekends run Friday, Sat., Sunday. It's really only "crowded" near the Star Tours ride. Or it was when I was there in 2001. And I wouldn't call it shoulder-to-shoulder, just packed a little bit more than other areas of the park. Go enjoy the rest of the park.

Yea, the rest of the park outside the special events & Star Tours will be at normal levels, if not less. If you dont plan on taking part in the SWW events, then you wont have a problem.
