We have 4 adults and kid too young for the Star Wars VR. We booked a 10:00 for 2 and the other 2 at 10:30. Is that enough time for the first couple to be done and watch the kiddo while the second couple goes?

It should be fine, though when we went (very shortly after it opened), they were having technical difficulty and it took over an hour to get through the entire experience. The reservation times are more about when you can show up, register and get in line for the experience, so, if it is taking longer than expected for the first 2 adults to come out, I would just speak to a staff member at the Void to let them know the situation (they are incredibly nice). I don't think it will be a problem.

Yeah, the reservation times work more like ADRs right now. When you show up you enter the queue for the next available spot. Every group takes a different amount of time, some more, some less, plus time to get the gear on/off (for example, we had a longer delay when one of the people in our group had to adjust their glasses and the headset). So, they can't really be exact with the reservation times.
