STAR WARS TEASER............I am really starting to beleive them! Disney maybe back on line

What we know about the SW Land Attractions:
1) The first "[Guests will have] the ability to take the controls of one of the most recognizable ships in the galaxy, the Millennium Falcon, on a customized secret mission."
2) The other will be a "epic Star Wars adventure that puts you in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance"
3) They will be highly immersive and not passive attractions.

Don't get too excited, this is what they say about Test Track:
"Buckle up in a 6-passenger “simulation car” and put a virtual vehicle that you created to the test."

Or Mission Space:
"Each member of your 4-cadet crew will assume an important role: navigator, pilot, commander or engineer. During your flight, each cadet will be instructed to initiate a mission-critical sequence, so be prepared!"

Pushing some buttons on a screen could be all that "take the controls" entails. While the customized secret mission are just a random assortment of cut scenes they play to you on the screen.

Well TT and MS were designed many years ago. MS is pretty good when you add in the G forces.

Based on the woop la that is coming with all the new lands and attractions, I do believe these are going to be over the top. Look at 7DMT,the theming and technos are excellent, highly immersive. The only draw back is that it is a bit short due to lack of building space.

Like I said before, I don't rule out simulators for the Falcon Ride. That's a distinct possibility. I don't think I ever specifically noted you'd have true control (though there have been rumors that's the case).

Different cut scenes seem to be the obvious choice. Much like Star Tours. You won't get any argument from me on that.

Though bear in mind this land is probably going to be cloned 4 or 5 Resorts and it will be critical to make it phenomenal. Scott Trowbridge who is leading this project (responsible for Spider-Man at IOA) is leading this and should do an awesome job. Everything is pointing to awesome.

Of course Disney is going to sell their product. I know that. You apparently know that. Everyone knows that. I'm just trying to pick up on clues.

As for the climatic battle one... That should be something more along the lines of Spiderman.

Other than this weird ILM report I have not seen anything that says a boat ride is coming to Star Wars land. I truly believe they were mistaken and talking about Shanghai or avatar. A boat ride just doesn't simply fit with the theme.

I totally agree, Time will tell, however.....I just don't see how a boat ride could even be themed to blend correctly with SW.

I love Star Tours and always ride multiple times. Now if they built it today I would say they weren't trying, because I'd expect some more sophisticated technology but for a 25 year old ride it's great.

StarTours is a good ride! ...and the ability to add new segments to it keeps it somewhat fresh. I saw a new segment just a few months ago, and it was fun. :)

I heard it was a boat ride like Pirates...

BREAKING: I found the first images of the mysterious Star Wars Boat Ride coming to DHS!

Really, there are only so many options for new rides: boat ride, spinner, omnimover, simulator, simulator hybrid or "Scoop", roller coaster, trackless and glorified bumper cars. What else IS there?? Disney does all of these, and Universal has done so many Scoops now that they are predictable. The Gringotts ride was a huge let down, signaling that Universal has done everything they can think of with the Scoop. I'm bored with coasters. Here's hoping Disney gets their creative juices flowing and just gives us something new, packaging these ideas into something we haven't seen before. :)
