Star Wars Merchandise - What A Mess!

I was there this past Saturday. After the Star Wars parade, I did Star Tours cause that was the only way to get into the store without standing in the line. I saw they had the Darth Mickey's in stock so I went back outside and got in the line. I was surprised that I only waited 45 minutes when others were also saying it was a 2 hour wait. Luckily I got my 2 Darth Mickeys and the pins.

So is the final verdict that Darth Mickey's are sold out completely? No more for the rest of the SWW? Just trying to figure out if I should bother showing up at MGM on Friday (its our MK day...)

In case anyone is looking for them, I saw Darth Tater at my local Kmart yesterday. Sorry, I did not notice the price but at least you might be able to find it locally.

Does this mean that you cannot shop after riding the ride? Are they making people exiting the ride leave the shop?

We were allowed to shop each time we rode Star Tours - I just didn't feel like waiting 45 mins in the non pin checkout line

I was thinking about makiing the trip. We were at MGM for a star wars weekend a year ago and it was no big deal. This may be worth the trip.

There are loads of Darth Mickey on ebay. May cost more but what price a wasted day in MGM.

My DS and I just returned last night. We were at Star Wars weekend on Saturday and Sunday. The lines for merchandise were a nightmare. Saturday was the worst. On Saturday we got t-shirts, lightsabers and pins at the outdoor shop by Sounds Dangerous. (if you are going to buy a light-up lightsaber, bring batteries, they don't come with batteries, my DS was a little disappointed, but a nice lady in line, who was going home the next morning gave us some batteries {thank you, nice lady!}, Anakin's lightsaber -3 AA, Count Dooku's - 2 C). The line at the star tours store was really bad on Sat. We went back on Sunday, my DS really wanted a Darth Mickey, we stood in line about 1 hour, they were passing out free attackix star wars figures to everyone in line (this kept the kids busy). We got a Darth Mickey! This was Sunday at about noon time. They seemed to have a good supply then. If I had known they were hard to get, I would have picked another up, Sorry.

Other than the line for Darth Mickey, we had a blast. My DS had fun with the Clone Troopers. The parade was neat. All the characters were great. We got lots of autogrpahs and pictures.

I also managed to get Darth Mickey on Sunday. On Friday they told me there were no more, but later in the weekend there was a limited supply. No one could say though how many (if any at all) would be available in subsequent weekends. The special pins are being released 2 per weekend.
