Star Wars Land.... will it be enough?

Will the advent of Star Wars Land be enough to ease pressure in the other parks?
Personally, I believe it will only cause more pressure through WDW as a whole. I’m sure a ton of people will come for Stars Wars Land but theres no way they will all stay within the studios for the term of their stay.
In recent history, Pandora was a huge success and wait times are still extremely high for Flight of Passage. However, I haven’t noticed that big of drop in wait times for Expedition Everest, much less for a top tier ride in another park.
With rumors of tiered pricing will this become yet another way for Disney to up the prices?
I’d rather see higher ticket prices for those not staying on property or a tiered program similar to the cruise line where repeat customers receive certain discounts. I don’t believe the current price hikes or a new land will be enough to help with crowd controls as Disney claims. Maybe if another gate was built... maybe, that’d be enough to spread the crowds out & for Disney to be able to legitimize higher prices.

You are right, it will only draw crowds and they will visit the other parks.Of course, it's not intended to alleviate overcrowding, but rather to drive attendance. What will help the other parks is the new attractions that they are all getting, i.e. TRON, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ratatouille, etc.

Do you think by finishing a bunch of new stuff close to the same time will help or hurt the over crowding?

I never had a thought that the Star Wars Lands being added to both U.S. Disney properties were in any way meant to relieve congestion, but rather to increase interest in the parks and maintain attendance. I still think it was genius to buy that IP and they should rightly be doing something with it as it's very popular.

I thought Pandora would ease MK in the evening, but that was wrong. It seems like ever since Pandora opened, the evening hours have been cut at MK. Except for the most crowded times of the year, it's almost impossible to find EMH at MK anymore and often 9pm closing. Not many year ago 11pm regular closing was normal even during average crowd season.
