Will the advent of Star Wars Land be enough to ease pressure in the other parks?
Personally, I believe it will only cause more pressure through WDW as a whole. I’m sure a ton of people will come for Stars Wars Land but theres no way they will all stay within the studios for the term of their stay.
In recent history, Pandora was a huge success and wait times are still extremely high for Flight of Passage. However, I haven’t noticed that big of drop in wait times for Expedition Everest, much less for a top tier ride in another park.
With rumors of tiered pricing will this become yet another way for Disney to up the prices?
I’d rather see higher ticket prices for those not staying on property or a tiered program similar to the cruise line where repeat customers receive certain discounts. I don’t believe the current price hikes or a new land will be enough to help with crowd controls as Disney claims. Maybe if another gate was built... maybe, that’d be enough to spread the crowds out & for Disney to be able to legitimize higher prices.
