Star Wars Land Plan/Construction

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows how this is all going please? What's the planned completion date - is it still/ on target for July 2017? Is this a good explanation of what is being done? http://www.slashfilm.com/disneyland-changes/ Thanks in advance

July 2017 had never been an expected completion date; I believe that was the projected date of reopening the train and Rivers of America only. It will take many years. Carsland was built on a parking lot and took 3 years; Star Wars Land can't even be started until Rivers of America is rerouted, train is rerouted, and area is leveled.

As lalasmama said, at this point July 2017 is the best bet for when the attractions around Rivers of America will re-open and the train re-routing will be done.
