Star Wars Land .. OMG !!

And a Toy Story land ........ Although I'm really not sure why they didn't go for Pixar Land as that would have given them sooooo many more options in my humble opinion

I think sticking to one Pixar world makes it easier to be an immersive experience. The artwork for Toy Story land looks great and it's obviously all tied together really well because it's all set in the same place!

Yes it's really great news but don't hold your breath - expectations are it will be at least 2020.

However, when it's finished I'm sure it'll be amazing.

Im going next year to WDW so expect to see loads of new stuff since i was last there in 2010, but as a result of these announcements i think i'll book to go in 2021 for the 50th anniversary in the hope of it all being finished by then

Ohhhhh that would work well for us as that nicely coincides with our 25th wedding anniversary :lovestruc:lovestruc

I see planning for another mega trip with a possible ceremony in my future :yay:

Dh is stupidly excited for this, as are the boys.
However I'm just dissatisfied that my kids will be nearly grown adults by the time it's done! How selfish of them to not consider my feelings, and to have not thought of this much much earlier.
Although I'm sure dh can play excited child enough for them all.

On a more positive we may actually get to enjoy pandora seriously though, we're probably one of the only families looking forward to avatar land. Maybe we will get it all to ourselves.

I almost shed a tear at the thought of a full size Millennium Falcon!
I am only 46!!!
Book me in now!!

I don't think reservations are open for 2019, yet :)
Probably it will not be ready before than, looking at the time that Fantasyland took and Pandora is taking to build. That's the only problem with this announcement, it will be years before we can see the new lands! :(

Also looking forward to avatar land, just me and you tinkerpea lol :flower1:

star wars land just doesnt do it for us at all

but eek avatar land we can not wait !! its the reason we have had to compromise and skip disney next year !! and will hopefully do a disney only the following year once its completed

I can’t wait for Star Wars land; I just hope it’s quicker than Pandora is taking. Universal seem to be able to build in loads less time than Disney.

I'm not a Star Wars fan at all but Im still super excited to see it! x
