It'll be interesting to see which of the projected/estimated/guessed maps end up being the most accurate when Star Wars Land opens. The one in the Slash Film's website has Star Wars land absorbing Big Thunder Ranch and Mickey and the Magical Map, whereas the one on Micechat has it absorbing Big Thunder Ranch and portions of the Rivers of America.

You can click on the "confirmed" links in the story to see where the details came from.
So far there is nothing to support MC's rumors.
It makes me very happy to see that Disney is saying the new area will be where BTRBBQ, Festival arena and some back stage area's are now. When questioned, they go on to say TT will be left alone.
Given what they have officially said, it's highly unlikely they will do anything to the ROA.

The Slash Film's posting was from August. They have a more recent one from September that is similar/based on the information from Micechat.

For what it's worth, Disneyland Today (the same source that Slash Film used) also confirmed that the Rivers of America will have a new route when re-opened.

Thanks for the posts Figment. I think one way for fp+ to work would be to separate AP holders FP+ from the visitor. Like they should have an amount set aside for AP holders.

Most interesting, thanks for the links. I liked the slash film gif, for some reason it made it more obvious what the rumors are looking at. I think it might make the train a little more interesting if it runs this new route with more bends in the track. Now I can't help but wonder (just wondering out loud y'all, I haven't actually seen anything on this) if another station will be under consideration for Star Wars Land somewhere between the New Orleans stop and Toontown for all the traffic headed to the new land...

Wait... Maybe i read something wrong in the past. Arent they closing some stuff to start SWL in jan? This article says construction will start by the end of next year.... Am i misunderstanding something? If construction isnt scheduled to start... Why all the closures?

This is just a guess on my part but the part of the island that they're modifying is at the opposite end of the TSI area we can walk around. So hopefully much of that will remain. I imagine the settlers cabin will disappear unless they re-create it.

The official Disney news from Figments link seems to be "The Rivers of America will have a new route when it reopens". Nothing else, including the rumors attributed to MC or the (very cool) GIF are official unless I messed something. So the actual change could be very minor or horrific - we Just don't know.
