Star Wars in Hollywood Studios on a daily basis?

I don't even like Star Wars but my husband does, and of course I'm excited for this years trip just to see some new things at Hollywood Studios. Is it still really up in the air as far as what's going to be open and when? We're going in August and I'm wondering what to expect.

- Do stormtroopers roam around all the time now?
- Can we meet Star Wars characters on a daily basis in like a meet and greet area?
- It's the old art of animation building that was turned into a prop place, right? Maybe I'm making that up. Is it open all the time now?
- This probably won't be open by August, and I don't know if it's even a thing or I'm making it up, but will there be star wars character dining or a dining experience? I remember reading somewhere on here about a catina but it was only on special star wars weekends or something, so I was wondering if they kept that open all the time now?

2. You can meet Chewie, Jawas, & Vader (soon to change to Kylo Ren) in the Launch Bay during park hours
3. The old AoA building has been turned into Launch Bay. Yes, it does have props as well as the meet & greets, mini movie, & gift shop. It is open during park hours.
4. No character dining has been announced yet.

Awesome, thanks!!! Is the meet and greet something they have FP+ for or something you would recommend using a FP on?

No FPs for the meet & greets. If you have a Disney Visa, there's a separate section inside for that greet.

Word is Kylo is taking over this month.

To expand on #1 - when they are roaming around they are in the Animation Courtyard. They march from the arch way to the entrance to the Launch Bay

Do you know when they are swapping out Vader? I'd hate to miss him!!

I would use FPs on Star Tours (currently still showing the Five Awakens scenes in every ride, but no known stop date when it will go completely random). The biggest FP draws are Toy Story, Tower of Terror, & Rockin' Rollercoaster.
