Dear Holocron Diary,
Nine hours on hold.... it's very dark now, but the very nice lady keeps checking in on me. I think she's nervous the womprats have turned into ROUSSes and taken me away. Alas, the first sailing doesn't look possible. Still waiting for a booking officer... but then I'm reminded of the legend about the first transport that tried to run the Imperial blockade long ago.... I don't know if the First Order is as good as the Empire at targeting passenger vessels, but at least there'll be one run before mine to see if they make it around the galaxy! Gee, I hope it's a relaxing cruise. What could go wrong? Isn't it piloted by a mouse? Aren't they very crafty?

I've learned a lot today. I learned that I can hear the same song 240 times without a care! I learned perseverance and foolishness are so closely entwined that it's like the last remnant of suds from clung to my glass. Are they ale, are they something else, one in the same? I learned, while like a hermit in a cave waiting for something momentous and galaxy-altering to happen, I like sipping "Rainbow Sherbet Sour w/Raspberry, Pineapple, Key Lime & Orange Puree" from Collective Arts Brewery. Diary, remind me to tell Craig about this concoction!

Clearly I have passed some Jedi temple fortitude test! or maybe it is a Sith trial all along? Maybe only the Sith would devise a 10 hour wait time! Either way, I am finally through to a reservationist. Soon I can finally leave my data pad behind and walk outside.... feel the air.... cause in space, no one can hear you wait on hold- I mean celebrate wildly. Yub Nub!

Booked! We’re “sailing” May 2nd. The 4th is still available. It was around $400 more for the 4th over the 2nd. All in with taxes for a family of 4 adults in a standard room with no adds was $6634.32 cash rate AP booking. We’re also dvc but It would have cost 814 points for the booking plus a $95 booking fee. I figure they are valuing at $8.03 per point. My mf’s are higher than that so no thanks. I was trying to see about booking the 3rd with 86 points but dvc was a mess. I was disconnected multiple times after long holds and gave up/tried AP. My successful call was initiated 1pm pst. First portion of call hold had music. 2nd had no music which did make me nervous after the disconnects earlier today. The AP line gave me an estimate of 2 hour hold and It was right around 3 hours.

Btw- we have dvc gold ap renewals from 2019 that are yet to be activated. We did not get an email invitation from AP just dvc email. The rep at AP line did have us all in the system as having eligible AP’s.

i know the cost is crazy but given we’ve missed park visits since 2019 I’m ok splurging a little. They took 20% payment upfront and fully refundable till final payment in February. $82 pp insurance can be purchased up to final payment.

Hi - so I’m a new Annual Pass holder who just signed up. I tried reserving for Galactic Starcruiser this morning but was unfortunately told I can’t get in the queue because my annual pass hasn’t been activated…

We have a trip starting October 17, but I’m hoping to go there October 10 just to activate my annual pass so that I can reserve. However my wife can’t join me. 2 questions:

1) If I have 2 annual passes (and I paid for both), can they both be activated when I go there? Or would my wife need to be there to activate hers?

2) If only my annual pass is activated, would I be able to reserve a Galactic Starcruiser trip for 2? Or do we both need active annual passes?

You only need one of those APs to be activated. I found that out this morning - when they told me mine was not activated (I have paid for a renewal certificate, but my wife's AP has a diffferent expiration, and hers is activated. They let me in, and even retrieved the unique code for me that was sent to my wife's email address. Good Luck!

Omg! finally booked!! Kevin booked us on an early March sailing. Unfortunately the captains table was all booked and we only got a cozy cabin but we are a couple, so that’s ok.

here’s what our timeline was:
7am sharp, got on hold with a glitch sound for a few minutes, then music and an announcement of over a 2 hour wait
8:19 am, got the pre-sceen
8:30 am, put on hold with music and an announcement about an over 2 hour wait, which then went completely silent
took a shower
blow dried my hair and stopped every few seconds to check the line
made eggs and tea
cancelled dentist appointment (lied about emergency)
1:53 pm the phone rang mid bite of egg and then Kevin cheerily answered and booked me and fielded my million questions.
2:12 pm we are booked!


I hope everyone else gets thier bookings! I hope to see some of you there, and I hope we have fun people seated with us!! We like a party.

edited to add: I forgot to mention my few my tries to get through on a second phone, which were all in vain, as I was turned away from holding, like others have mentioned!

I didn't ask about park reservations for that day, but I was told having an annual pass does not discount the stay at all even though the included ticket was redundant.

You do not have to make a park reservation for that day. It's stated in the details of your booking confirmation.

I am still waiting on DVC 4 hours 23 mins praying they will let me use points on 3rd passenger.

So now I see in MDE the two nights reservation for the Galactic Starcruiser, two Crown of Corellia Dinner reservations (one is Captains Table), the park passes (SWGS 1-Day DHS Admission) and an order for magic bands to be shipped.

If my notes are correct, 5:30p and 8p seatings. Keep in mind, as it was advised to me, your arrival day officially starts at 4pm. You can arrive as early as 1pm.

i was told there are snack / small bites available and sandwiches can be ordered to your room.

So I just noticed on the Disney website that it says I cannot pose for pictures with anyone or sign autographs for anyone....so glad we got that out of the way before the voyage....so if you see me...play it cool...we can arrange that photo op and autograph gimmick on Batuu...

Is there any word yet on whether they’re going to extend past the posted 3 days since feasibly some people will be trying to call in all day for 3 days and unable to get through? Is it expected to be a bit more free tomorrow, or is it just call at 7 AM and pray?
