Star Wars Fireworks Worth It?

Heading to Disney next week and of course plan to see the 7:00 Fantasmic (family favorite)! Is it possible to catch the 8:00 SW fireworks afterwards? Are they visible from the entire park, and if not any suggestions for a decent view with the music? Thanks in advance!

Yes, it's absolutely possible to catch the fireworks after Fantasmic! Since you've already seen Fantasmic, I'd suggest leaving as the finale starts to beat the crowd to the exit (this is what we did early January). You should be able to stake out a spot for the fireworks pretty easily.

OP, the Star Wars fireworks are, without a doubt, worth staying for! Paired with the soundtrack, it's such an impressive show, and everyone in my party (including my teenage sisters who barely know who Darth Vader is) thought it was the most impressive of the nighttime spectaculars.

I'm glad I asked--sounds like a "don't miss" for a SW fan or not! I didn't realize that the fireworks were only for a short period of time so I am going to cross my fingers and hope for an extension!

Thanks, everyone!

Went last night and they were great!! What a perfect evening with the weather, dinner at Brown Derby and finish it off with fireworks before heading out. Not crowded at all last night either.

Can they be seen from all areas of the park or is there a location we should try to get to after Fantasmic?

All areas of DHS have obstructed fireworks views, but some are less obstructed than others.
The main plaza (near the former hat) is most popular.
It almost sounds like the area between Prime Time and Echo lake might be best.

Awesome show. Definitely see it before it is gone. I recently saw a video someone posted from Epcot. They were seated at the mexican restaurant and could see the fireworks and hear the music. They ended right before Illuminations started.

Definitely see them. We are not Star Wars fans either and we went just to see the fireworks a few weeks back. The music is awesome and they are the best fireworks I have ever seen at Disney.

Saw it once and that was good enough for me. Good show but I'm not as big of a fan as PPs here on the thread. Worth seeing but make sure you are where you can hear the music well. Probably best view would in the main plaza. Without the music it would be just another so so fireworks display.
