Any idea when Disney will release reservation dates for Star Wars dessert party? Do I just continue to check every morning?

Have you been to the dessert party? Is it worth it? I want to attend the show but can you just show up and get viewing? I am new to this posting. We are arriving in September staying at the Yacht Club. This will be our 3rd visit.
