Star Wars Day at Sea

I know there is very little information about these cruises but I wanted to see everyone's opinions. We are booked on the second Star Wars cruise. We choose this cruise because we wanted to do Western after several years of doing the Eastern route. We are fans of Star Wars but are not looking for having Star Wars be in your face the entire time. Do you think DCL will keep it to one day or will it take over the entire sailing?

Since we are on one of the first sailings it will be too late to cancel by the time information really comes out. I am afraid that if it is too in your face it will drive DH crazy and he will be miserable.

I think we are on the same cruise. The title is "Star Wars Day at Sea", so I am guessing there will be some light Star Wars theming throughout the ship for the entire cruise (SW meet-n-greets, movie marathon in BV Theater, etc.) , but the heavy-duty stuff will only be on that one sea day.

Also, your husband will be driven crazy by SW in his face, but not Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Princesses, etc. in his face as on a normal DCL cruise?

My DH is fine on a regular cruise. It is easy enough to avoid the meet and greets. It is more the mass amounts of people that annoy him. We skip pirate night as well but it more because we don't like the menu.

Even though they say Day at Sea I wasn't sure if it was going to be like one of the Halloween cruises. Not that they are overly in your face either.

Thanks! We are all set to go so I don't really want to cancel. Other than seeing the new movie I feel like we can skip most of other stuff.
