Star Wars Day At Sea Guest Speakers for 2020

Has anyone heard who the speakers will be on the upcoming cruises? The schedule has been posted on the Disney Parks Blog and disneycruiselineblog in past years but I cannot seem to find anything for 2020. A couple of years ago I knew in advance that Leland Chee (terrific presentations by the way) was going to be our guest speaker when we did our last SWDAS. I called Disney Cruise Line this morning but the representative said she did not have any information and I would have to wait until I see the navigator. I am specifically interested in the 1/18 sailing.

I believe the first SWDAS cruise of the year just completed. Does anyone have any information on the speakers?

Just off Fantasy and there were no guest speakers in my knowledge or listed on the Navigator. If there was a guest speaker it was a failure of communication about it.

Hmmmm, wonder if they aren't having any this year???? OP I'm on same cruise as you, guess we'll find out soon. I'm not a SW fan, but there's going to be a lot of disappointed fans if they don't have guest speakers this year.

It would have been listed under Star award 101. Did they still have that? Can’t wait to see you navigators- I am on the 1/18 cruise as well

They did have star wars 101, several times starting the night before SWDAS, but no speakers listed and we didn't go because we know a bit about star wars. That's pretty upsetting, if they had guest speakers at those and never told us!

My guess is there were no speakers. Previous years it was announced by DCL before the cruises started. I remember last year the cruise director made an announcement about it at the evening show the night before SW day. I didn't go to it since I'm not SW fan. There would have had something in the navigator about the speaker also.

This was how it appeared in the Navigator on our last SWDAS cruise. I am a big Star Wars geek and I was looking forward to the guest. I was really hoping for someone like Pablo Hidalgo, Ashley Eckstein, or Warrick Davis. All prior speakers. Leland Chee was great. It will be disappointing if there are none next week but still will be fun.
